I have been rescuing animals for most of my life. In 2007, I rescued 27 pups from a puppy mill.  It was then that I decided to start a formal animal rescue group, and Recycled Paws Rescue, Inc. was born. We have been an official 501c3 Not for Profit since 2009. All donations made are tax deductible.

For the first couple of years I funded the rescue with the proceeds of the grooming and retail business with a large investment of my personal funds. Unfortunately, it is never enough to pay the bills, feeding, vet care, transport, overhead, and grooming are very expensive, the list is never ending.

Recycled Paws is a 100% volunteer based organization - We have volunteers from the ages of 10 - 60+ yrs old. We do the majority of our adoptions through Petco and Petsmart. Our animals are kept in foster care homes for no less than 2 weeks after arrival. Where they receive their first formal training. Our Foster parents start them on potty training, socialization, basic commands and learn if they are good with kids and other animals or any behavioral issues that might need to be addressed. 

We are always in need of FOSTER PARENTS, the more fosters we have the more dogs we can save. You must be 21 years or older to be eligible to become a foster parent. If you are younger than 21 years old, you must have a parent to sign the foster agreement with you to be eligible to be a foster parent. If you're fostering for community service hours, one week of fostering is considered 40 hours of service. Everyone must fill out the Foster Agreement Form, it is in the tabs above. You must be approved before you can start. If you are renting your residence, then you must get approval from your landlord proving that you are permitted to have an animal on the premises. If you have other animals, they must be up to date on all their vaccines (including the Bordatella) and be spayed/neutered; to protect our puppies/dogs and your animals.
